Someone is four kinds of crazy. You do realize that the Chinese and Indians couldn't buy us even if they wanted? Look what happened when West and East Germany united- they both went down.
As for martial law... the troops aren't in the country. Most are overseas. More to the point, they are loyal to the United States.

yours is one of the first comments I've allowed to be published (yes, I've had to resort to moderating comments due to certain parties' activities) and I do hope you're right. My fear is that the new MexiAmeriCanada army won't have so many qualms about enforcing martial law in the N.A.U.. Jobs is jobs.
Canada is part of the British Commonwealth and thus in our pocket. Mexico's army could be defeated by the national guard.
There really isn't anything to fear. They have 620,400 active troops and a budget of 10 billion dollars... which is extremely low compared to the US military budget.
More to the point, they don't have any tanks. The Mexican Army troops are peace keepers whose main task is to give ambitious men a position they can be watched. Mostly they are sent to even poorer countries under the banner of the UN. If they invaded and SAC didn't take them out, insurgents with rifles and moltov cocktails would. You say how hard it was to occupy Iraq- and the US is richer, bigger and has 10 times the population of Iraq.
Canada is even smaller- 75,000 men with a budget of 19 billion.
To put this into perspective, the US has 2.3 million military personal and a budget of 583 billion... and they are loyal to the US. More specifically, the Joint Chief's of loyal. They would NEVER let a foreign power invade the US.
