obviously, not in one single trek. It's a book called FROM THE THAMES TO THE WYE (twelve walks in the Cotswolds and Malverns between stations on the railway line from Oxford to Hereford).
And yesterday, my wife, daughter and I finally made it to Malvern station, having completed nine of the twelve recommended walks over a couple month period. Most of the walks are about 10 miles, so the book is aimed at regular walkers (who can follow a yellow line on an O.S. map) going from station to station.
The book is compiled by Ray Jones (a very nice bloke who lives just around the corner from us), illustrated throughtout by Glynis Dray of Malvern and published by the COTSWOLD LINE PROMOTION GROUP.
Each walk contains detailed and thorough O.S. map segments relative to the specific walk and detailed descriptions of the walk itself marking important elements such as 'uphill' or 'downhill' and this attention to detail and overall design make this book a MUST BUY.
