"CableGate" that's what WIKILEAKS are asking people to call tomorrow's release of millions of US Embassy cables. And according to this latest report from Max Keiser, the UK military have issued a DA-Notice to UK News Editors that leaked info from Wikileaks should not be published.Specifically type 1 & 5 in the list below:
DA-Notice 01: Military Operations, Plans & Capabilities
DA-Notice 02: Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Weapons and Equipment
DA-Notice 03: Ciphers and Secure Communications
DA-Notice 04: Sensitive Installations and Home Addresses
DA-Notice 05: United Kingdom Security & Intelligence Special Services
But how can this affect the bloggers?
Well, isn't it obvious that with this type 1 & 5 DA-Notice slapped on the UK media, it'll be the job of the bloggers, specifically the political bloggers and 9-11-truth seeking bloggers, to disseminate the information in the US Embassy cables and therefore make them targets of the UK Police and Military?
According to Keiser, one ISP "Nominet" (which runs .uk ips) is already allowing the Police to close down 'illegal' blogs and one of the most respected bloggers on the UK scene GUIDO FAWKES has advised bloggers to use hosts outside the UK and not use .uk domain.
According to newspaper websites, the classified US Government documents released by WikiLeaks include claims of: and it's quite a list of claims.
According to Wikileaks twitter page El Pais, Le Monde, Der Speigel, The Guardian & The New York Times will publish many US embassy cables tonight, even if WikiLeaks goes down.
It's tempting to speculate, but I'm not totally convinced, that Wikileaks has been intentionally set up, funded and stage managed by the covert ops of a specific western government to KILL BLOGGERS but this could be an indirect outcome of their actions, technically. Very interesting Fabian times we're living in, eh?
Monday morning update: Noticably, many UK papers front covers AREN'T mentioning 'the most important diplomatic gaff in modern history' this morning. Nuclear scientists killed in car-bomb attacks in Iran. And overnight, an American politician has called for WikiLeaks to be designated "A Terrorist Organisation" following the release of the latest batch of leaked documents.
New York Republican Peter King said the organisation was a "clear and present danger" to the US.
"WikiLeaks presents a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States," he said. "I strongly urge you (Foreign Secretary Hillary Clinton) to work within the Administration to use every offensive capability of the US government to prevent further damaging releases by WikiLeaks." If one really looks into these headlined government activities, one should have already came to the conclusions you have, Mike.
I personally believe that Assange is a part of the governments' agenda; I mean really, all the alphabet agencies are after him, and still hasn't caught him yet?
I do think that all these leaks are designed to bring down the American Empire, and how better to do so, then to air all this dirty laundry? Who in their right mind will trust anything from America?
All these so called diplomatic activities are not so civil, and I for one am glad that the people get to see that just because a figure is employed by an state or nation agency, it does not connote any respectability to them.
