Dream: I find an old cine camera on a parklike walkway beside some semi-detached housing. Right there on the path. I look around, pick it up. I go up to some bloke polishing his car and ask if it's his and/or where can I hand it in. Looking at the tape later on, it's footage of ME in places I've never been with people I've never seen, as a younger person, in towns that are familiar to my history.
A sorta nightmare WITHIN a dream.
And it sorta dragged my mind back to the technology of Volker Blaz & Thomas Vetter and their 3D morphable model for the synthesis of 3D faces where face morphing was used to re-actorise someone else's movements.
And it's like, "Eureka!" that's how the nasty Conglomerates are blackmailing all the world's leaders, they're making faux-snuff or faux-paedo or faux-gay-porn or whatever is necessary with some ACTORS murdering and abusing CHILDREN or WOMEN or MEN in camera. These actors will be dressed as the politicians, in settings reflective of meetings, parties and summits the politicians will have attended. The technology will apply the face of the accused (with full expression) into the shot.
They'll have NO ALIBI and the footage will look and sound VERY CONVINCING. That's the leverage they'll have on the so-called Freely Elected custodians of Democracy. That's the thumb screw on our Freedom.
Wonder how long it'll be before someone associated with this Post Production blackmail scam cracks and some really nasty footage of some world leader is found on a DVD in some Soho park, say, and no-one can tell if it's real or not.
