I've features a couple of radical design concepts on this blog and this gorgeous looking design exercise from Mecedez Benz, codenamed BIOME, has come the closest to really pissing me off.
Listen, I'm the sorta guy who don't necessarily care about the airy-fairy new-age seed-grown nature of this design concept, that 'wraps around your personal needs' as a driver. I really love the lines of this insane creation by the 110 years old German coach builder but I'm just wondering how practical will it ever be? Do Mercedes Benz not understand that the oil-spattered tarmac'd streets of this Global Conglomerate Empire are rutted with POTHOLES, crippled by KERBS and littered with SPEED BUMPS?
I mean, I'd like to think this was powered by some exotic FREE ENERGY magnetic drive and can achieve speeds of 3,000 miles per hour on guidance-automated floating FREEWAYS ... but I'm obviously living in a childish dreamworld, like Mercedes Benz.
