Severn Cullis-Suzuki - one single world - one single goal

UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE ON
ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Rio de Janeiro, 3-14 June, 1992

Severn Cullis-Suzuki (born 30 November 1979 in Vancouver, Canada) is an environmental activist, speaker, television host and author. She has spoken around the world about environmental issues, urging listeners to define their values, act with the future in mind, and take individual responsibility. Here she is in 1992, at the age of 12 addressing the United Nations Conference on Environment & Development.

1992, and no we didn't listen to her.

"You are what you DO, not what you say. You say you love us, please let your actions reflect your words." Severn Cullis-Suzuki, 1992.

Thank you.

Absolutely remarkable, and as she grew up, she didn't slow down one bit.

of course, I think (once you realise that there are finite resources on this finite homeworld) it's really hard not to become totally obsessed about the rights of all forms of life.

As obsessed as I am with the FREE PLANET idea, I guess -- these passions are infectious, as has been displayed time and time again.
