Wasilla, Alaska - Warrior Within - banned for blatant vagina-ism

As reported in Alaska's foremost newspaper Frontiersman, this 'blatantly phallus-like' sculpture "Warrior Within" by Jim Dault and Shala Dobson has been PLACED UNDER TARPAULIN three days after its 'erection' outside Wasilla High School in the Mat-Su Valley by censors claiming it 'looks like a vagina'.

Rapid double-takes, "A vagina?"

“We poured our heart and soul into that piece, worked on it for nine months,” Jim Dault said of their Percent For Art Program public-funded effort, “We are proud, and I think there needs to be some time spent with it, as with any piece of art."

That's so pathetic... what a depressing message to send to students about misogyny - they should really think about putting a cover over the Washington Monument, but phalluses are 'okay' - anything that even suggests a vagina on the other hand, burn it at the stake. Nothing has changed since the Middle Ages, if anything intolerance and gynocide has worsened. If this kind of fear based intolerance is the message of the day, the 2012 apocalypse can't come soon enough!

A recent episode of the Fox TV series had the character Walter described Fauxlivia as having a hidden "vagenda".

Perhaps that word also has use here?
