Welcome to the Anthropocene - 250 years animated journey - industrial revolution forward

as part of the United Nations' Decade on Biodiversity, and co-directed by GLOBAIA, "Welcome to the Anthropocene" is a film about the state of the planet in terms of man's transportational impact upon the Earth that takes us through the last 250 years of Human History, from the start of the Industrial Revolution to the present. The film charts the growth of humanity into a global force on an equivalent scale to major geological processes.

Hmm, a "safe operating space for humanity," should have mentioned re-wilding the planet to usher in a new era of Free Planet and ethically technological floating Diversities where every living being (man, animal, plant) benefits from local solutions to Earth's major problems, FINANCIAL PROFIT and just more taxes.

That would be an Anthropocene worth welcoming.
