I happened to arrive at 37 Elizabeth Road, Haydock (a place where several dreams have been set), via a circuitous side alley route that 'just doesn't exist' but existed at my (German) nan's house. I used the 'back door' to enter 37 Eliz Rd and it was obvious that a) the decor was totally different from what I remember and b) someone had already been in and ransacked it.
In my head was Paul McCartney's frog song, which doesn't go: WE ALL BURN TOGETHER.
Odd, and ominous, in light of second dream I had where I was explaining to the (German) owner of a staircase-cum-restaurant the dream I'd just had about his staircase/restaurant. It was very strange to say to this dumb-founded owner, "Yes, this wasn't here. And see this, this was a brown double slatted swing door. But it was definitely here." I could even tell him about the half-repaired white stone bridge just over the way where I'd been on a white plastic push-scooter I'd been cycling around on, for some reason.
Then there was art gallery tour and the death-chasing and I had to rugby tackle TWO pursuers to jolt myself awake. I do remember, another song, during the chase scene was the one that goes, "I know you and you know you know me." Apparently, it's a song by The Tease and it's used on a visually clever ketchup advert here in UK. Admittedly, before going to bed, I was thinking of doing a little youtube video on the Free Planet Manifesto.
I don't even believe in this kind of spiritualist stuff, but the Devil's Quoits was a very odd, very cold experience. It's situated right next to a landfill site and looks wrong, in every way.
