Meredith Frampton - pseudo photo realist

you all know I have a bit of a thing for photo-realist art of late, and while I have featured Meredith Frampton's star piece at the Tate Gallery on Free Planet, I thought it was time for a proper appraisal of his amazing pseudo-photo-realist art.

Meredith Frampton, a British painter and etcher born in the late nineteenth century, was educated at St John's Wood Art School and the at the Royal Academy Schools. Although his artistic career was short and his output limited, his work is on display at the National Portrait Gallery, Tate Gallery, Tate Modern and Imperial War Museum. I find it just mesmerising.

So, we move to a non-feudal, freed-up, Diversity-based planet - what do we get?

No marketing of any Diversity's ideas as more important than the other, no active recruiting, no sponsorship, no dogma, as long as, "Do good by Free Planet," is your mantra. It's fair enough to say, "To live in a Diversity you have to learn its language," but what's obviously going to happen is Secret Languages are gonna sprout up and take control of a Diversity, they'll become the new 'currency' and then we're back where we were before having to 'protect what we (foolishly) believe is ours. It's so obvious the so-called Free People in these Free Planet Diversities will STILL want to and STILL continue to attempt to keep a hold over something that isn't theirs, just another shared agreement they want to call THEIR OWN, that it makes me truly sad.

I wonder how long this prison-food mentality will be our undoing knowing that even the most beautiful Corporate Getout Clause will be massacred (again) by dumb, fucking, greedy idiots.

Andrew Niccol, writer of Gattaca, The Truman Show, and The Terminal, has really pulled out all the stops with this directorial outing. This has to be his writing pinnacle, full of pathos and passion. Niccol's characters are immense and flavourful. His direction is meaningful and adds to the well-crafted tale. His narrated observations are bang-on contemporary socio-political commentary.

Shudokan Aikido Oxford - return to the mat

well, after a two-year absence and seeing as I'm still featured on the site's banner somewhere, I finally made it back to my Shudokan Aikido Oxford's Sunday class (6pm to 8pm) at the Brookes University sport's site.

I was a bit nervous as I thought I'd have forgotten all the techniques that got me to blue belt but it went okay, I really enjoyed it. I'll tell you how my body feels TOMORROW but it was great to be back on the mat and see some familiar (and some new) faces.

U.N. urged to freeze climate geo-engineering 'Chemtrails' projects!

According to this new article from NEWS DAILY:

The United Nations should impose a moratorium on "geo-engineering" projects such as artificial volcanoes and vast cloud-seeding schemes to fight climate change, green groups say, fearing they could harm nature and mankind.

Some countries regard geo-engineering projects costing billions of dollars as a way to control Climate Change by cutting the amount of sunlight hitting the earth or soaking up excess greenhouse gas emissions, particularly carbon dioxide.

"It's absolutely inappropriate for a handful of governments in industrialized countries to make a decision to try geo-engineering without the approval of all the world's support," Pat Mooney, from Canada-headquartered advocacy organization ETC Group, told Reuters on the sidelines of the October 18-29 meeting.

"They shouldn't proceed with real-life, in-the-environment experimentation or the deployment of any geo-engineering until there is a consensus in the United Nations that this is okay."

Some conservation groups say geo-engineering is a way for some governments and companies to get out of taking steps to slash planet-warming emissions.

Doesn't this date back to Maritime Law when boats (and their ruling captains) were the omnipotent state of transit between Royal Domains, i.e. countries. Aren't you, legally, a Corporate Entity or Valuable Good delivered to a relevant border (address) at birth (berth)?

Don't you even have to claim that Corporate Personhood in a Court of Law before proceedings can commence against your CORPORATE PERSON?

So, for taxation purposes, why aren't we, the legal PERSONs, treated in the same way as any other size of Corporation or Conglomerate with respect to TAXATION i.e. net after any deductions?

But who's to say these set allowances actually COVER THE RUNNING COSTS OF YOUR CORPORATE PERSON i.e. the legal you, the company kept in your FORENAME SURNAME @ HMRC central office?

If you are (legally) a Corporation surely you can claim against any taxable amount of earnings Living Costs i.e. those amounts you'd normally pay EVERY WORKING DAY for the running of and maintenance of your Corporation, i.e. your PERSON.

Loans, rent and maintenance of a property.
Sewage, heating, lighting.
Transportation costs.
Clothing costs.
Childcare costs.
Entertainment costs.
Food and any other number of costs a clever Accountant would claim for their Corporate Customers every single day. You can even have a Petty Cash account where you track sundry costs like tweazering your eyesbrows and painting your lips, let's say, shaving your chin or any other hairy surface.

All that lumped together could reduce EVERY PERSON's tax bill by at least another £10,000 - £30,000 every year, no?

Put like this, the corporate PERSON i.e. You The People should be taxed as lightly as say BP or Sony or Nike or any major highstreet bank, part state owned or not.

Isn't this how each Corporate Entity i.e. PERSON on this corporate planet should be represented with respect to taxation?

Shouldn't every PERSON be sending in an accounting of their day-to-day running costs to the HMRC before they're taxed on what's left of their earnings?

Free Planet - the bell curve of empires

In October 2008, I wrote a blogpost called "structural anarchy is mankind's salvation" and I'd like to re-examine this via the skewed or catastrophic 'distribution curve' of Empire Failure.

All empires fail.

We all know this. Empires fail for all sorts of reasons. But they all follow a similar curve, a bell curve.



Look back through history at the Egyptians, the Babylonians, the Romans, the Viking, the Nazis, the Commonwealth, Soviet Russia and today's modern empire The Americans. There's a juvenile thrust when opportunity arises, a middle-age spread when inertia sets in and an often rapid decline into morbidity due to some conflict of interest that leads to total cancerous failure of the system, eventually.

On a long enough timeline, all empires will fail.

So, why do we keep FUNDING an.oth.er.des.pot's Empire Dreams with our communal subscription?

THEY WILL FAIL.

But where does this fit in to our initial mention of structured anarchy, localised Diversity and, ultimately, a FREE PLANET.

I think the guiding premise of 'protect your planet under any circumstance' will always, ALWAYS, trump any self-preservationary Empire defenses. But what does this actually mean? Would it mean bringing down the population of the planet over time?

IT SHOULD.

It makes sense that if there are fewer of us to feed, we can probably feed those who remain better and easier - and this can be done over time, with care for our planet and how we restock what we take. To do this we have to mercilessly crucify the FOR PROFIT financial model that has ruled this earth since time immemorial.

In fact, if you look at the bell curve for HUMAN EXISTENCE, we're just about at the point, right now, where we're accelerating up to the zenith of the bell curve, which can mean only one thing. The descent. And this may be a gradual or catastrophic decline in numbers. But it'll be okay.

As long as we don't allow Big Government to dictate and Big Pharma to decide who should live and who should die. As long as we BAN all large-scale corporate vaccination programmes and educate the general public in the vast area of the bell curve that YOU JUST CAN'T HAVE ALL THE KIDS YOU WANT.

You don't even need all those kids.

I suspect that if we the seven billion (thus far) inhabitants of this planet just locally, together or as individuals, just understand that we can't keep trying to BUILD THE HUMAN EMPIRE to the detriment of the other balancing factors on this planet (the flora and the fauna) we can effectively NULLIFY THE HUMAN RACE BELL CURVE,

and by this I mean we can take ourselves, our very race, off the catastrophic failure curve, for ever. We will succeed because we are taking care of Free Planet like it is a new-born baby. We will succeed because mankind is becoming aware of the balances on both sides of the life equation.

THOUGH SELF-IMPORTANT FRONTAL-LOBED MANKIND THOUGHT HE COULD, HE CAN'T HAVE IT ALL.

Empire after empire has proven this, nothing will change until we BREAK THE FEUDAL EMPIRE BELL CURVE and support the anarchic-seeming structure of ruler-less rule-less yet benevolent planetary existence alongside our fellow man.

Nicholas Cage - Lord of War - Viktor Bout

that's the trailer for the 2005 Nicholas Cage fictional film 'Lord of War' about freelance arms dealer "Yuri Orlov" who has, over the last few decades, supplied more despotic warlords all over this war-torn planet with arms and munitions when it would have been seen to be 'uncool' for governments to be seen doing the same.

According to this witty and poignant script, this is how it works - the WAR FOR PROFIT governments don't wanna be seen getting their hands dirty in public.

So, what's the connection between this recommended 2005 film and the recent story of Viktor Bout, arrested in Thailand and undergoing extradition proceedings to the States for war crimes.

And where does fellow Russian Dmitri Khalezov who came up with the highly-publicised 150 kt underground nuclear demolition of the World Trade Centre buildings 1, 2 and 7 and an undetonated GRANIT missile that may or may not have hit the Pentagon on September 11th 2001, fit into this political fantasy tale?

I like the bit where Yuri Orlov (narrating in the fictional film 'Lord of War') says, "I never did business with Osama Bin Laden ... his cheques bounced." when he should have really said, "...the CIA dealt with the Mujahedin themselves," or words to that effect.

There was absolutely no mention of September 11th 2001 in the film, either?

If fictional films like 'Lord of War' were anything like reality, then such a pre-trial mainstream production would have merely been just another clever OUT designed for a man who had escaped such locked cells before; the basic idea of this move on the Grand Chess Board being that this sort of generated Hollywood propaganda (like the Flight 93 film) heavily prejudice the possiblity of any fair and honest trial of Viktor Bout in whichever country.

Extradition to USA for Bout has been delayed and this story is officially termed, "Developing..."

Gary McKinnon - Global Guardian - Solo

Are the US Government trying to pin the hacking of the US/Canada "Global Guardian" wargame that took place in US airspace from September 10th to September 12th of 2001 on Gary McKinnon?

Have the US Government actually admitted that "Global Guardian" was hacked yet, and false traces placed on Air Traffic Control screens across military and commercial air space?

Between February 1 2001 and March 19 2002 - The Glasgow-born computer expert allegedly hacks into 97 US government computers from his home in north London.

US says hacker is fugitive. He is accused of leaving 300 computers at US Naval Weapons Station Earle in New Jersey unusable immediately after the September 11 2001 terror attacks on America.

US prosecutors also allege he deleted files which shut down the US Army's military district of Washington DC network of more than 2,000 computers for 24 hours.

Mr McKinnon later denies causing any damage and says he was only looking for files that would prove the existence of UFOs. [source TELEGRAPH]

While denying the astronomical damage claims against him, Gary McKinnon has allegedly admitted to leaving a message on one hacked computer:

US foreign policy is akin to Government-sponsored terrorism these days … It was not a mistake that there was a huge security stand down on September 11 last year … I am SOLO. I will continue to disrupt at the highest levels …

US authorities claim that McKinnon is trying to downplay his involvement in the 9-11 hack. A senior military officer at the Pentagon told The Sunday Telegraph: "US policy is to fight these attacks as strongly as possible. As a result of Mr McKinnon's actions, we suffered serious damage. This was not some harmless incident. He did very serious and deliberate damage to military and Nasa computers and left silly and anti-America messages. All the evidence was that someone was staging a very serious attack on US computer systems."

I never even heard of McKinnon's so-called invlovement in 9-11 before now. You gotta wonder how all this ties in to the recent death of MI6 code-breaker Gareth Williams, too. Or Iraq weapons inspecting whistleblower Dr David Kelly. Or, maybe none of it is as connected as TPTB would have us believe. Maybe it's just another move in the Grand Chess Game.

If McKinnon was extradited in connection with the infamous (is it?) 9-11 hack, then wouldn't he be tried for MURDER or COMPLICITY in such? A far greater crime than 'mere criminal damage'. Of course, there's always the compartmentalism of intelligence activity, so until we open up our governments' actions to public scrutiny, we're just chasing hypothetical tails like mad dogs in the midday sun... which is just how they like it.

McKinnon has the support of many famous celebrities and political/activist parties here in UK. Even ITN political editor, Tom Bradby, has raised the Gary McKinnon issue with Barack Obama and David Cameron in a joint White House press conference and got the response, "We have discussed it and are working to find an 'appropriate solution'."

Meaning what?

Love Canal: A Tragic Story of Corruption

Stories of corporate corruption have riddled the news and air waves for centuries. One of the most famous cases of corporate corruption and cutting corners to save money happened in the 1970s in the Niagara Falls, New York area known as Love Canal.

History of Love Canal

Love Canal started out as a vision by William T. Love. Love wanted to connect each side of the Niagara River by digging a canal. Love barely began his project when his funds for digging and development ran out. The abandoned canal was turned into a landfill in later years.

Hooker Chemical and Love Canal

Love Canal became a dumping site in the 1920s. About twenty years later, Hooker Chemical was given permission by city officials to dump 21,000 tons of industrial chemicals and waste into site. The canal was later filled in and covered by vegetation. When the city of Niagara Falls decided it wanted to build and expand on the canal, Hooker Chemical sold the land to the city to use as a building ground for homes and a school. Hooker Chemical knew the land was full of toxic waste and informed city officials of the potential hazards of building on the canal through a written document which sealed the transfer of the sale of the land. The city of Niagara Falls decided to build on the land anyway.

Health Hazards as a Result of Toxic Waste

In the late 1970s, harmful chemicals and asbestos, which can cause a serious form of cancer known as mesothelioma, were leaked into the Love Canal sewer system. Families and officials began to notice high rates of birth defects, miscarriages, cancers, and other illnesses. An alarming 56% of children born between 1974 and 1978 were born with severe birth defects.

A local mother, Lois Gibbs, began going door to door to ask other families if their children were experiencing severe illness. Gibbs’ son was plagued by a variety of sicknesses. She soon learned about the toxic waste site that was located in the town, under the residents’ homes and schools. She later uncovered a report which revealed that industries were intentionally and consciously locating toxic landfills in areas of low economic income and poverty.

After an investigation from officials, the land was deemed uninhabitable and toxic. The area was evacuated in 1978 and was officially declared a national emergency in 1980.

Corruption in Government Led to Health Disasters

Despite the warnings from Hooker Company, the local government still decided to build on the contaminated land. Hooker Company sold the land to the city of Niagara Falls for only one dollar. By building on the contaminated land, the government would generate profits from taxes and businesses. Many people completely blame Hooker Company for the tragedy; however, others say that Hooker Company took precautions to stop the building from occurring. There is evidence that Hooker Company did take some precautions when dumping the waste into Love Canal. The chemicals were dug into impermeable clay soil, which could have prevented waste from drifting from the site.

Despite feelings from the public about Niagara Falls’ local government and Hooker Company, the facts about the extreme health problems in Love Canal remain the same- preventable and tragic health issues still occurred.

this post was inspired by my vivid memory of a PBS TV show called Frontier House, where they take families of soft American middle-classers and subject them to the hard manual labour of life on the prairie that their gold-rush ancestors from Europe had to endure.

One memorable scene, a guy who had been chopping wood day after day to build a fence around his homestead excused himself from the show to visit the set doctor complaining that he was 'always physically drained' and 'his ribs were showing' - he wondered if he'd contracted some sort of 'wasting disease' or something; a virus maybe?

The concerned doctor did the tests then chuckled as he announced, "Those things there sticking out of your body, they're muscles. You're in better shape now than you've ever been in your entire life, Mr Six Pack." which leads me to this latest excuse for 'what we accept as reality'.
